Singapore punishes men for having gay sex by
throwing them in prison. Does anyone else find this wildly ironic?
Good news for our readers in Singapore.
Oral and anal sex is now legal over there — but only if you’re straight.
Unfortunately, if you’re a gay man, engaging in those activities with another guy is still an offense (!) and carries a maximum penalty of two years in jail. Needless to say, the island state’s gay community is pissed off, calling the government’s plan to legalize oral and anal copulation only for heterosexuals as unjust.
But to be fair, when it comes to Singapore’s new sex law reforms, homosexual men are not the only community getting the short end of the stick.
Additional amendments will also put a damper on the lifestyles of necrophiliacs (sex with dead people was banned), pedophiles (tougher penalties for sex with minors under 14) and men who rape their wives.

Hoang Thuy Linh, a 19-year-old Vietnamese celebrity, is facing national revulsion for an online video where she is shown having sex (dont worry this link doesn’t take you to the video). The country’s predominantly conservative culture is still largely against pre-marital sex.
But that’s all beside my point. I have nothing against Hoang Thuy Linh.
Here is the problem: Ben Stocking, the writer of the article. Here is another non-Asian reporter writing what he thinks is right for the masses. Before I go further, compare another article about this scandal, written by Nga Pham, a BBC-Vietnam staff writer. It’s a big difference isnt it? Nga Pham’s article leaves me feeling satisfied as a news reader. Unlike Stocking’s article which goes way too much into what is “wrong” with Vietnamese culture.
I’ll skip assumptions about Stocking’s intent. But most news articles about Asia leave me worried about the ignorance they cause. Nha Pham did what he’s supposed to do as a reporter - report the news with an arbitrary mind. But what does that mean? Just dont ask Matt Drudge. He obviously hates Asians, especially the Chinese.
As for Hoang Thuy Linh, good for her and her video. Paris Hiltons’s sex video gave her more fame….despite those racist remarks she’s made.
Change the system.

Tofu, The Cheese of Asia
WASHINGTON — Here’s a revelation: Eating soy products won’t destroy your sperm. As a devout and virile vegan who consumes soy-based foods religiously, I could’ve already told you that. But, alas, who’s gonna trust the word of a Chinese guy these days?
A press release by the Soyfoods Association of North America has denounced a recent study by Dr. Jorge Chavarro which found eating soy products could have detrimental effects on a guy’s man seed.
To underscore their case, the Association points to a recent article in New Scientist in which Chavarro himself “speculates that his study found a link between soya and low sperm count because many of the participants were overweight or obese. Men with high levels of body fat produce more oestrogen than their slim counterparts.”
Additionally, the Association cites East Asian men as shining examples of the benefits of a soy-rich diet: “Generations of Asians have regularly consumed soyfoods without fertility disorders, and Asian countries have prodigiously produced very healthy, highly functioning children for centuries.”
So keep eating that tofu and overpopulating the world!

Note to the Asian men of Stanford: Stop perpetuating stereotypes!!!
STANFORD, CA — A recent online sex survey of Stanford University students has produced some surprising results — and one incredibly depressing one.
Apparently, half of the Asian male upperclassman are virgins. This is in stark contrast to the 27 percent of virginal non-Asian male upperclassman. Meanwhile, the Asian women of Stanford have the same rates of virginity as their non-Asian female counterparts, which we surmise is considerably less than 50 percent.
It should be noted that Asians were the only race singled out in this particular article, which was printed in the Stanford Daily, the university’s student newspaper.
Now what I don’t understand is if these Asian guys at Stanford are supposed to be so smart, why would they admit to being virgins??
I knew to lie about that stuff since I was 12!
