Singapore punishes men for having gay sex by
throwing them in prison. Does anyone else find this wildly ironic?
Good news for our readers in Singapore.
Oral and anal sex is now legal over there — but only if you’re straight.
Unfortunately, if you’re a gay man, engaging in those activities with another guy is still an offense (!) and carries a maximum penalty of two years in jail. Needless to say, the island state’s gay community is pissed off, calling the government’s plan to legalize oral and anal copulation only for heterosexuals as unjust.
But to be fair, when it comes to Singapore’s new sex law reforms, homosexual men are not the only community getting the short end of the stick.
Additional amendments will also put a damper on the lifestyles of necrophiliacs (sex with dead people was banned), pedophiles (tougher penalties for sex with minors under 14) and men who rape their wives.

“Your hair is so difficult to cut! Asian hair is…… argh!!!”
I’ve heard countless barbers utter various of the above phrase throughout my life. I didn’t know any better; I just thought that was how my life would be…. forever. [sigh] A friend of mine recommended Hair Kuwayama and I’ve been going there ever since. (Note: All of their hair stylists are seasoned professionals with years of experience in cutting Asian people’s hair.) The fact of the matter is that only the best hair stylists can cut Asian people’s hair well.

Well, New Zealanders are considered Asians, whether they like it or not.
According to The Durex Sexual Wellbeing Global survey, New Zealand females have the most sexual partners. Topping off at 20.4 sexual partners, that’s more than twice the global average of 13.2. That’s way too many.

As reported by this article, young white Americans are happier with life than their minority counterparts.

- According to an extensive survey of 1,280 people ages 13-24 by The Associated Press and MTV, 72 percent of whites say they are happy with life in general, compared with 51 percent of Hispanics and 56 percent of blacks.
- “It doesn’t surprise me,” said Martin Carpenter, 21, a black New Jersey resident. “There’s a lot of issues out there for African-American young adults. You can still go to certain places and feel uncomfortable, like you don’t belong there.”
Martin’s feeling about racism, real or perceived, was echoed in the survey: 28 percent of minorities believe race will hurt them in the quest for a better life. Among whites, 20 percent feel their race will help in getting ahead.

- Q: How many people stood up in solidarity to defend the Asian American community against the history of racism against Asian Americans broadcast on the former CBS Radio show, “The Dog House?”
- A: As of 5/15/07, a special interest group consisting of only 1,505 people signed an online petition to “save the ‘Dog House’”
- A: As of 5/15/07, 12,090 individuals stood up in solidarity against racism towards the Asian American community.
It seems like this “special interest group” was overwhelmingly drowned out by the voice of Asian Americans backed by CBS’ decision to can JV & Elvis.
