In my opinion, this is “must see”. It reminded me of some older Tyra Banks talkshow clips on the same subject, however this segment is even more blatant and clear so that there is no mistaking what is going on.

Interestingly, different regions displayed quite different preferences with the Chinese choosing Chanel, shoppers in Hong Kong and the Philippines preferring Louis Vuitton, Russians choosing Christian Dior, the Japanese preferring Hermes and Latin American consumers picking Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein and Yves Saint Laurent as their top brands.

Paris Hilton Absolutely Loves China

Paris Hilton loves China.  She’s not down and giving oral favors like in her home videos, but she’s there modeling our people’s fashion designs.  I’m no fan of hers, but giving more exposure to Chinese fashion could be the best thing she’s ever done.

I’ll say, she makes those designs look good.  Or should I say, those designs make her look good.

Great Wall Host of High Fashion

Pretty darn creative I must say.  Fashion house Fendi pulled off a fashion show right on the Great Wall.  A whopping eighty-eight models took part.  Even Zhang Ziyi was in the house.

Hats off to Fendi’s marketing minds.  The magnitude of this event should capture Chinese consumer attention.  Lets just hope their profits lead them to use more Asian models in their ads/commercials.  I have yet to see one.  Can someone please prove me wrong?
