Last May 28 at the Mercury, Koreatown L.A. took place the formal signing of a collective agreement of Asian-American business owners in Southern California.
Envoys like Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai chambers of commerce in S. California have gathered together for the event in order for them to meet and exploit power and develop economic chances.

The Korean-American founder and CVO (Chief Visionary Officer) of MISFIT Financial Group Paul Kim is trying to save the prices of agriculture nowadays. He is planning to establish an agriculture-focused fund called Misfit-Delta, he is introducing it to Korea in order to help them recognize the prices of commodities.
Kim was born in Korea and later moved in U.S. with his parents. He finished Economics in Northwestern University and became a trader at a company called Cargill. He had been in the grain market for eight years.

L.A.’s Little Tokyo the largest Japanese town in California has the largest indoor Japanese mall which was bought by six Korean-Americans. They have invested $35.5 million dollars for the shopping mall itself.
They will be converting it into Korean market, Korean-style spa and some Korean themed center. “We are not saying don’t come, you are not welcome,” he said. “We are saying let’s sit down and talk about what is good for your community and good for your business.” Korean-Americans said.

This award is entitled to those business men who have successfully built a business, a good vision and an exceptional leadership.

Verizon Wireless is proud to inform that they employed 69,000 people for their company including Asian-Americans.
That is the purpose of celebrating Asian Pacific Heritage Month to honor the hard work of Asian- Americans.

Asian-American has voted for Hillary Clinton in big percentage. There is a group called 80-20 Initiative that has been supporting Clinton on Super Tuesday. It is called 80-20, because their objective or goal is to put all their votes and money to the candidate that they have endorsed.
Groups like these try to oppose any oppose any indifferences or alarm. The continuous growth of Asian-Americans in the U.S. can possibly manipulate a certain election. Once, in a close election, they have recognized a swing group which their support is for Clinton.

US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC-EF) named the company Software Paradigm International (SPI) as one of the 50 fastest growing Asian American business in the nation. The declaration will be held during 23rd CelebrAsian Annual National Business Opportunity ’08 at the White House.
SPI is from North America. Their line of business is Global Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing. They provide Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare and Manufacturing.

U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos Guttierez has sent a letter to American Chamber of Commerce in China telling them to appeal fo a greater investment in the United States. “Please come to the U.S. You will find no better market in the world in which to build a business, create wealth and create opportunities” was part of his letter inviting China to go to their country.
China and United States have been good partners for years; fortunately with this kind of relationship Chinese American population continues to increase.

USPACC EF (US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation) has reported $4.9 billion dollars of sales that were produced by 50 Asian American Businesses in 2007.
“The continued robust growth of Asian American-owned businesses — even during tough economic times — is testament to the enduring quality of Asian Americans who, through innovation, hard work and ingenuity, remain at the forefront as engines of growth in our national economy,” said USPACC EF.

Wal-mart was documented to have employed 39,000 Asian-Americans and 5,000 Pacific Islanders. It is one of the Fortune 500 companies and it was published by the Asian Magazine the largest publication for Asian-American small businesses.
