A new wave of Asian Americans makes significant strides
Asian-American now invades the TV and Film industry; many of the Asian-American are now playing lead roles on television and movies. They are not doing the usual roles that most Asians do, like martial arts that Jackie Chan always does.
Before, they have been behind the lime light playing roles that are ethnic specific meaning roles that they just play, but not portray.
Recently, Hollywood did bring out the best in Asian-American people; they have done major roles in very popular movies like Charlie’s Angels and television programs like Grey’s Anatomy and Heroes. All of these just proved that Asian-American cannot only do commercials but they can be the main focus of the camera as well.
