Man’s body found near national park
Police believe a man whose body was found near a national park south-west of Melbourne was of Asian descent and aged in his 20s or 30s.
The body was found at Toynes Road near the You Yangs Regional Park in Little River, Homicide squad detectives are at the scene and have blocked off Toynes Road. Parks Victoria has closed walking tracks near the scene as of know detectives had so far been unable to determine the cause of death.
Police have yet to remove the body from the scene and are awaiting crime scene officers.
