Nearly 200 people gathered Tuesday night outside City Hall demanding answers to questions surrounding the death of Michael Sungman Cho, the man fatally shot by La Habra police on New Year’s Eve.

The 25-year-old was shot outside Seven Gold Liquor store in La Habra by La Habra police. Cho was a Korean American by origin. His friends and family mourned outside Seven Gold Liquor store.

The Korean-American community is pushing hard for justice for his death, and a recent protest was organized by Korean Americans to bring attention to this case; the community demands that the culprits be jailed. Another memorial is planned for Feb. 28 at UCLA.
