Brandon Elkins, 18, who graduated this spring, said he did not give a second thought to joining.
“There are a bunch of Facebook groups,” he said. “People send out invitations and you just click on them.
“I just thought it was a joke. Everyone did. It just went a little too far. I don’t think anyone in that group hates any group of people,” he said. “I wasn’t really involved with it. I never heard anything about it until I got a letter at home. Nobody ever talked about it at school.”
So, threatening Asian Americans is “just a joke”? Brandon Elkins claims that he “wasn’t really involved with it”, is that so? Is that why he’s quoted as saying:
