Racist broadcast by 92.3 FM : An insult to Asian Americans
On 4/5/07, WFNY 92.3FM (CBS Radio) aired a segment that is an insult to Asian Americans.
The 10 students who beat up a 17 year old Filipino girl because she “looked Chinese” would have found this radio broadcast hillarious, as would the men who committed these equally anti-Asian cold-blooded hate crimes.

Call Karen Mateo of CBS and demand that JV & Elvis, the hosts of this show, are terminated from employment. Feel free to cite this quote from the CBS Business Conduct Statement, Section VI listed on the corporate web page:

CBS’s conduct statement should be clear to everybody. It is stated above and I’ll post it again: “CBS has a “zero tolerance” policy for … harassment based on race, color, national origin, [or] ethnicity … Discriminatory treatment, including … harassment based on a person’s race … is strictly prohibited.”
CBS does not represent all the views that free speech would let slip. CBS would not stand for hate speech or prejudice of any kind, while the First Amendment would and does. They’re separate, kids. I have no problem with free speech, rant all the sexist and racist things you want on your journal entries, not on radio stations.

JImmyconners I advise you to stop listening to garbage and pick up a book because you obviously didn’t understand a word of that statement by CBS. Let me break it down for you. If you make s***ty racist statements you get your program pulled. There thats it! It wasn’t asian american’s fault he made that statement. It was his decision to make it and he made it. I suggest he be a f***ing man about it and take his punishment.
