RECAP: CBS Radio/JV & Elvis Protest
Vandergrift: “…I’ve always, you know, been there for people of all different cultures.”
On Friday, FALLOUT CENTRAL stood alongside more than 120 Asian Americans in solidarity to demand the firing of Jeff Vandergrift (”JV”) and Dan Lay (”Elvis”) at the door-steps of CBS headquarters in New York.
We defiantly raised our voices to reinforce:
- That Jeff Vandergrift (”JV”) and Dan Lay (”Elvis”) should be FIRED!
- That this protest is not about a single prank call, but it is about Jeff Vandergrift and Dan Lay’s HISTORY of humiliating and denigrating Asians and Asian Americans on their radio show, “The Dog House”. Click on this link, this link , and this link to listen for yourself.
That being married to a woman of Asian descent does not give Jeff Vandergrift a license to humiliate and denigrate the people of her race. In fact, it just further demonstrates how little respect he has for our culture and heritage, and most importantly, it demonstrates how little repsect he has for his own wife.
We fully support free speech but not racist hate speech made over public airwaves. CBS Radio must fire them for a history of racist and derogatory remarks made about Asians, just as they terminated Don Imus for a racially insenstive remark about African Americans.
The protestors held signs which read:
- “Zero tolerance for harassment based on race” - CBS Business Conduct Statement, Section VI
- Elvis: Leave the Building!
- Fire JV and Elvis Now!
There were about 50 passer byers who approached the mass of protesters with eager curiosity throughout the rally. All of them stopped to read our hand-outs (summarizing information detailed on FALLOUT CENTRAL), and discussed the remarks in question. Virtually all of them, with a few exceptions, stood on our side of the picket fence in agreement with the thorough and detailed evidence we presented. This was a definitive indication of the positive momentum we’ve gained throughout this important demonstration.

Also, shame on these Asians who say we shame them. I don’t know what rock you crawled under from, but I’m 23 years old, and I still get called a chink by kids and “adults” ranging from 7 to 45. And if you let this so called “free speech” continue, our children and children’s children will have to suffer through this hate. My goal is to stop hate in general, hate against whites, hate against blacks, hate against asians, and hate against latinos. You people need to start waking up.

Here is a quick recap of the CBS RADIO protest, where the OCA and Fall out group were exposed as the true racist factions. The doghouse had a nice show up as well in one day’s notice, while they had people bused in with signs that were pre-made, and some not knowing what they were protesting.
This OCA group and it’s sidekick ‘Fall-Out Central” showed their true colors, they handed out information that compared the prank call to Hitler and the mass killings of Jews in WWII by the Nazi’s.
The OCA protest was full of RACIAL comments… They were calling the white people Nazi’s and KKK members, and making racial insults towards Jews!!!!
If you want to say those things…fine say what ever you want..But don’t talk about double standards and try to get a radio show fired, when you are doing the same THINGS!!
These are the same people who on their website were calling JV’s Asian wife equally offensive stereotypical names, when she voiced her SUPPORT for Her husband and his radio show…

On there OWN website, the majority of their comments are from Asians saying they were being too sensitive, and then they were swiftly hit with the same stereotypical attitudes they were “supposidely,” trying to rid the radio waves of.
They were the one who used hate speech IN PUBLIC!
Im happy to say a few news reporters were there to catch them in their hypocritical protest. The reporters are in contact with a select few at the Doghouseforum website and will hopefully show the world who really was shooting off the hate speech.
To top it all off they decided to shake hands, pat each other on the back, and even HUG each other after spewing the real public racist hate speech.

Asians in america are just as american as a white american. We’re not just drycleaners and take-out restarant owners…
..we’re your doctors, nurses, programmers, engineers and scientists!!! We made some of your scyscrapers and buildings, we take care of americas sick yet you white-americans still want us “servicing” you under menial labor??

When will racism end? History shows that native hawaiians and indians were exterminated thru policies of racism. Look no further than pictures of these people and compare the living ones today. They aren’t the same. The originals are all dead. Then we have slavery, Chinese Exclusion Act, Japanese Internment and host of other crimes against humanity. When will US become truly a racism free nation? When will US restore human dignity and human rights?
Insofar as Dog House is concerned, this show was clearly put up by couple of white trash who attracted other onboard. I tell ya, these lot waste a lot of natural resources.
