JV & Elvis suspended by CBS Radio

Jeff Vandergrift (a.k.a. “JV”) (r.) and Dan Lay
(a.k.a. “Elvis”): “flied lice”, “you rike fortune
cookie”, “sirence!”, “hot Asian spicy ass”, “no tickey,
no raunree”, “Rong Isrand”. *
Good news!
Thanks to the hard work of the Organization of Chinese Americans and the outspoken response of the Asian American community, New York radio “personalities” Jeff Vandergrift (a.k.a. “JV”) and Dan Lay (a.k.a. “Elvis”) of 92.3 Free FM’s “The Dog House” have been suspended by CBS Radio for their racist and sexist prank call to a Chinese restaurant. During the six-minute segment (which originally aired on April 5, 2007 and re-aired on April 19, 2007 — a week after Don Imus was fired for his “nappy-headed hos” comment), Vandergrift and Lay verbally abuse restaurant workers with racist, vulgar and sexist comments that range from mock Asian accents (”flied lice”) to sexual harassment (telling a female employee they want to see her “hot Asian spicy ass”).
Not surprisingly, FALLOUT CENTRAL has uncovered that these type of anti-Asian antics appear to be an ongoing component of their show. Click the following links for a sampling of their hateful vile: “you rike a fortune cookie?”and “rice pickle”.

But this battle is not won yet, let’s get these two racists fired and off the air once and for all!!!
Call, write and/or email the following CBS Radio personnel and let them know that our community is not going to sit by idly while we are insulted, humiliated and dehumanized over public airwaves, nor will we tolerate any double standards (i.e. the Imus incident) when it comes to their company’s policy on public displays of racism.

*These are NOT quotes attributed to either Vandergrift or Lay. They are satirical captions written by the author of this article. ???
Why do you sneak this on the bottom?

I’ve heard these two guys on the radio so often making fun of so many different race except for WHITES. I wonder why?? Must stem from racism!

Another giant step towards censorship from another thin skinned group who cannot forsee that censorship is a double edged sword. I just might find a comment on this web I find offensive and according to your own commitments you would have to agree to shut this web page down, wouldn’t you? I mean in your pursuit for a clinical no choice society, it would only be fair wouldn’t it? . Whats that, don’t visit the web site, if I am offended? Exactly, the same way you could protest by turning the dial, instead of stopping other people the right of choice. You are guilty of removing peoples rights and you should be held to task for that.
