Dragon Boys explores Vancouver underworld
The Associated Press reports on “Dragon Boys,” a thriller about Asian gangs in Vancouver that played this year’s San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival after debuting as a miniseries on Canadian TV.
Hong Kong-born Simon Wong, who stars as a high school kid gone bad, says of the screenplay, “I’d never read a script with all these Asian people. And they’re all three dimensional characters with lives.”
